Electrical Discharge Machining

CNC electrical discharge machining (EDM) is an advanced technology widely applied in modern metalworking. This method allows the processing of parts with exceptional accuracy and quality, even when the geometry is highly complex.
Wire EDM operates through electrical discharges between the wire and the workpiece. These discharges gradually erode the surface, forming precise contours. As the wire follows the programmed path, the discharge heat melts and evaporates the material, ensuring clean and accurate cutting.
STALVIA’s production facilities are equipped with a high-speed CNC wire EDM machine designed to work with all conductive materials, including cermet alloys, nonferrous metals, and other hard-to-machine substances. This equipment enables the cutting of intricate external and internal contours with precision.
The DK77 series jet-type wire EDM machine is capable of processing any conductive material, regardless of hardness. It is applied in contour cutting, machining of complex internal and external shapes, and the production of tools, dies, molds, instrument components, gear parts, shims, bushings, keyways, and many other parts.
